The Lavanche is a study in arrested force. Its proportions recall the geological processes that form marble itself — immense pressure accumulated over millennia, recorded in every vein that crosses the surface. The stone is chosen for the directional charge of its patterning: lines that move across the slab with a momentum entirely their own.
Where other designs minimise the presence of stone, Lavanche celebrates it. The depth of the top is substantial by intent — a proportional decision that gives the piece a gravitational authority in any room. It does not ask to be noticed. It simply is.

The generous proportions of the Lavanche mean that scaling up or down is often a straightforward conversation. The Lavanche is offered in polished and honed finishes. Polished surfaces accentuate the movement of the veining and are particularly striking in Calacatta Gold and Nero Marquina. Honed finishes give the stone a more tactile, matte character that suits Verde Alpi and Travertine Roman especially well. We can arrange sample dispatch to assist your selection.
For everyday care, wipe with a damp cloth and a pH-neutral cleaner. Avoid acidic substances such as wine, citrus, or vinegar. Given the generous surface area of the Lavanche, we particularly recommend sealing the stone upon delivery and annually thereafter with a quality impregnating sealer. Full care instructions are included with every piece.
Absolutely. We can dispatch hand-cut material samples to your studio or home. Include your address and preferred stones in your inquiry. For a piece of the Lavanche's scale and presence, we strongly encourage clients to hold the stone firsthand — the weight, warmth, and depth of marble cannot be communicated on screen.
Yes. Given the substantial weight of the Lavanche, every piece is crated, insured, and delivered exclusively by specialist stone logistics partners worldwide. White-glove installation — including placement, levelling, and a final inspection of the surface — is included as standard for all Lavanche commissions.
